CovidPass to launch a solution to re-enable global tourism.
CovidPass offers a standardized, fraud-free protocol to re-enable large public gatherings and travel, from testing to arrival, while respecting users privacy.
The global travel and tourism industry has already lost US$320 billion due to Covid19 according to UNWTA, and risk losing more than 100 million jobs around the world.
Countries’ response has been to close borders, to impose quarantines, a deterrent to tourism, or to accept non-unified and changing protocols to re-allow entry and mitigate the economic impact of Covid19, resulting in poor travelers’ confidence.
CovidPass is scheduled to launch the beta release of its solution, developed in association with medical, consumer app and tourism experts.

CovidPass through the secure communication of a clean health visa signed off on by an authorized testing laboratory -that would be liable for faulty results-, guaranties authenticity of information. Security agents on the ground are able to reconfirm the test results using a simple, secure and unbiased approach. This process offers additional assurance for the re-opening of borders and for allowing the free movement of individuals who test negative or are deemed immune.
